The Nintendo Switch launch title "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" appears to have sold out over at Amazon US. As of the moment, the site has no update regarding the next restocking schedule. In the meantime, Nintendo Switch fans are slated to play with three new additional independent games on the console upon launch.
No More Nintendo Switch Version For This "Zelda" Game
Apparently, Wii U owners may still pre-order a copy of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," My Nintendo News reported. It should be noted that the $59.96 Wii U version will be released along with the Nintendo Switch version on Mar. 3, 2017, the same date that the Nintendo Switch will be released in the market. The US retailer's site also notes that both the Special Edition and the Master Edition of the Nintendo Switch version are currently unavailable.
Those who have pre-ordered a copy of the latest "Zelda" game on either the Nintendo Switch or the Wii U may expect to see Link waking up from a 100-year slumber. The Amazon site reveals that the protagonist would be exploring the wilds to regain his lost memory and save Hyrule. Moreover, the pre-order bundle also comes with a Nintendo Switch Sheikah slate Carrying Case, the Relic of Hyrule and a sheikah Eye Collectible Coin. A sound selection CD of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Sound Selection CD is also included along with a digital copy of the game.
More Indie Games Confirmed For Nintendo Switch After Price Rollback Of Development Kits
In other news, Nintendo previously offered the development kits for the Nintendo Switch at a record-low. Now, three independent game developers have confirmed games for the March 3 launch lineup bringing eight titles to the Nintendo Switch upon launch, CNet reported. It is expected that Shin'en Multimedia brought in the racing competition "Fast RMX" to the hybrid console.
Nintendo Switch is also slated to launch with "Specter of Torment" from "Shovel Knight." In addition, Yacht Club Games has confirmed that "Treasure Trove" will be launching on the Nintendo Switch as well. Note that while "Fast RMX" would launch as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, the other two games are exclusive only for a limited time. Watch the "Fast RMX" Gameplay below:
