The "Transformers" franchise is slated to get a new game that will offer players access to almost every phase of the game franchise history. The "Transformers: Forged to Fight" will allow players to collect iconic characters from each "Transformers" generation including the Decepticons and the Autobots. In addition, the new trailer of the upcoming fighting game showcased the game's Tekken-style 360 degree fighting system.
Hasbro Figures Featured in New Game
The "Transformers: Forged to Fight" game is slated to include Hasbro's massive catalog of figures. In addition, Paramount's blockbuster films and fan-favorites from the "Transformers" comic book series would be part of the game as well, Skewed and Reviewed reported. In the game, players are slated to explore a new epic universe where multiple realities collide, resulting to a massive planetary battlefield.
The "Transformers: Forged to Fight" game would allow players to assemble a team of Decepticons and Autobots from across space and time to fight against the world of corrupted "Transformers" and the villainous overlords. Moreover, "Transformers: Forged to Fight" would also feature intense one-on-one battles and amazing visuals.
Transformers such as Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Starscream, Grimlock and Megatron are slated to level up over time and unleash powerful new abilities. "Transformers: Forged to Fight" is being developed by Kabam Vancouver, maker of the longtime chart-topper "MARVEL: Contest of Champions." It is expected that the new game would be published on Google Play and the App Store in Spring 2017.
"Tekken" Players To Feel Right At Home With "Forged to Fight"
In other news, "Tekken" players may feel right at home with the new "Transformers" game as a new trailer revealed the 360 degree combat in the system. Moreover, the original animated G1 Transformers and Bayformers will also be revealed in the game. Battles will then commence within 3D arenas, One Angry Gamer reported.
"Transformers: Forged to Fight" is said to be a fast and responsive mobile game reminiscent of Virtua Fighter in terms of speed and combo.
