Leslie Benzies, the man behind several "GTA" series games has recently opened another game development studio in Budapest. This is the third studio that Benzies has launched that will work on his first game called "Everywhere."
The former president of Rockstar North has previously launched two other studios located in Edinburg and Los Angeles. The Budapest office will be led by the former boss of Crytek Hungary ("Rise of Rome," "The Collectibles" and "Crysis Warhead"), Kristoffer Waardahl, who happened to have enlisted several veteran game developers, GameSpot reports.
"To develop and build a beautiful open-world game is one of our core passions and it resonates deeply with the team," Waardahl answered when asked about their upcoming project with the former GTA producer. Waardahl also added, "When we heard Leslie's vision for the game we jumped at the opportunity to join Everywhere and are delighted to be part of the core team bringing the game alive."
As reported by Gamenguide, very little information is known about Benzies' new game except that it will be an open world game and "draws inspirations from everywhere." Benzies is also not the only person connected with the "GTA" franchise, Matthew Smith, another developer that worked with the Rockstar game, is also aboard the project. It is speculated that their upcoming work could be something similar to the "Grand Theft Auto" series.
Going now to "GTA Online," the online game is currently having a Valentine's theme event that will run until Feb. 27. The event added two new maps on the adversary mode of Till Death Do Us Part, according another report from GameSpot.
Additionally, the timely event brings in Be My Valentine Clothing, Gesenberg Sweeper, Benny's Upgrades and Ocelot Pentrator. The event also offers an extra 25 percent GTA$ bonus for Special Cargo deliveries and Biker Business sales. A 50 percent discount is then offered on all Assistance Service and several more.
