Telltale Games has just sent over word about a free soundtrack download from The Walking Dead: Season Two. The track is called 'In the Pines' and it's the credits song for 'A House Divided', the second and most recent episode of the season
We absolutely loved this episode of the game and while the song is beautiful and haunting, it's not exactly a dance track. 'In The Pines' is a traditional American folk song which dates back to the 1870's and is believed to be of Southern Appalachian origin. This version was arranged by long-time composer for Telltale Games, Jared Emerson-Johnson, with vocals supplied by Janel Drewis, who also works as an animator on the development team at Telltale.
You can listen to the song below or download 'In the Pines' for free here. The song is also featured in this brand new trailer for the game, which shows off some critical scenes and dialogue from the first two episodes as well as showcasing just some of the accolades that have been showered all over it.
Telltale also took this moment to announce that The Walking Dead: Season Two will be premiering on PlayStation Vita in the next few weeks. The lack of an announcement on that was surprising, especially seeing as how the first season is currently bundled with the Vita itself. They tell fans to stay tuned to @telltalegames for release dates as they become available. As for Episode 3 of the game, In Harms Way, there's been no official word on a release date just yet, but after you've played the second episode it can't come fast enough.
