Not everyone has the budget for the new Xbox One headsets from Turtle Beach, and there's not a whole helluva lot of models that are compatible. At least not until now. A few days back, the Xbox One received a firmware update. While it didn't fix all the problems, one thing it did do was make older headsets a usable option, provided you update your controller.
The company considered the go to choose on sets recently released a flowchart of sorts, providing owners with specific directions and any additional accessories they might need in order to make older headsets workable on Microsoft's next-gen console.
