Good day for Xbox gamers today, as the hotly anticipated Titanfall is now upon us, and with impressive scores to boot. If you held off on a pre-order, don't worry, because if you head over to Best Buy, you can get one hell of a deal.
As it's always done, the mega retailer is accepting trade-ins, but if you're planning on using them as credit towards buying Titanfall, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck, as certain games are going for twice their usual value, so what normally nets you $22.50 now gets you $45. Not great if you grabbed the game for $60 when it first released, but still better than normal.
Here's the full set of details according to the retailer's website:
"Trade in a select Xbox One game listed below and receive a $45 credit to use toward Titanfall. In store only.
Qualifying Xbox One Games
- Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
- Battlefield 4
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Dead Rising 3
- FIFA 14
- Forza Motorsport 5
- Madden NFL 25
- NBA 2K14
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Ryse: Son of Rome
- The LEGO Movie Videogame
- Thief
- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
It's worth mentioning that a few folks on Reddit have found that you can still get the bonus bucks from the trade-in without actually buying Titanfall. Some are even reporting profiting from deal as they managed to get some of the listed games at lower prices. This might vary from location to location though, so good luck finding the most dead-eyed, slack-jawed cashier in the store.
