The "Rainbow Six Siege" developers have recently announced the upcoming free-to-play weekend from Feb. 2-5, 2017. It is expected that the second operator will be launched during the Six Invitational" this coming Feb. 3, 2017. In the meantime, the first operator has just been released with a feature to see enemy footprints.
Free Weekend Imminent Starts Tomorrow
The "Rainbow Six Siege" developers have reportedly been praised for releasing new maps free-to-play for all players as well as the plethora of downloadable contents being made available for the game. It should be noted that Ubisoft recently announced the free-to-play weekend starting tomorrow for PS4 and Xbox One console players as well as those on PC, WWG reported.
"Rainbow Six Siege" newbies are expected to participate in the free weekend while console players may also switch to PC during the event. In addition, Season Two of "Rainbow Six Siege" is slated to kick off soon with the Operation Velvet Shell on Feb. 7, 2017 on all gaming platforms. It is expected that "Rainbow Six Siege" would be getting the new Coastline map.
Jackal Operator Of Velvet Shell Revealed
Meanwhile, the first of the two new Operators for this year was recently unveiled by Ubisoft in the "Rainbow Six Siege". It has been revealed that Ubisoft reportedly plans to add more content in the game this year such as maps and operators. On that note, the Jackal Operator reportedly featured a special ability to see enemy footprints with a combination of goggles and special light, Attack Of The Fan Boy reported.
"Rainbow Six Siege" Squads may reportedly use this operator to gather enemy intel on positions and movements. The G.E.O. Operator Jackal is said to be equipped with a C7E and PDw9 as his primary weapons. Additionally, Ryad Ramirez Al-Hassar reportedly packs the ITA 12S and UPS 40 as his secondary weapons.
