The sad news, however, is that players will no longer be allowed to speed up as the new no microtransactions schemed will be introduced.
"Horizon: Zero Dawn" PS4 Exclusive Will Have No Microtransactions
The no microtransaction confirmation came from the twitter account of Guerilla Games. Following a fan's inquiry about the future of microtransactions, the developers revealed that gamers can expect no microtransactions and the kind, Ars Technica reported.
The news surprised "Horizon: Zero Dawn" PS4 exclusive gamers as the trend of microtransactions in-game are becoming a trend. While the PS4 title is on single-player with no accusations of Pay to win schemes similar to multiplayer games, the implementation of microtransactions is still deemed controversial.
The "Horizon: Zero Dawn," a brand new IP, has numerous treats especially that the game is amongst the biggest PS4 Pro titles. Guerilla Games, however, wants to avoid the risk of alienating players with schemeful microtransactions. "Horizon: Zero Dawn" will be released in North America on Feb. 28 and in the United Kingdom on March 1.
"Horizon: Zero Dawn" Deals
A PS4 executive previously revealed that no big thing is set to be revealed for the game's bundle coming to North America. Europe, on the other hand, will have a bundle deal as announced by Sony in their official European blog.
On March 1, in time for the Europe release, the "Horizon: Zero Dawn" bundle will also be released carrying the game's physical copy and a 1TB PS4 Slim. It will also feature three months subscription for PlayStation Plus. Although pricing was not revealed, Sony announced that interested gamers can check local retailers for details, Gamepur reported.
The North America PS4 bundles that are currently available include "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End."
