Following the Star Wars Battlefront Scarif DLC pack last December 6 that is said to be the last major content addition for the multiplayer suite, there were speculations that Star Wars Battlefront's servers will be shutting down.
Despite the declining players of the said game, Mat Everett, EA's community manager, confirmed that the said speculation was not true. He even hinted that "steps are being taken to combat emptiness." He also added by saying: "I will post those details as the patch is made available like we typically do."
It can be remembered that Scarif DLC pack was the last major content that has been reported to have a series of troublesome glitches. It has been said that players were complaining that the game has bugs and problems since the arrival of the DLC pack.
