Battlefield 4 released to a myriad of technical issues but EA is committed to fixing its mistakes, according to an official representative that spoke to Polygon. Publisher Electronic Arts spoke to the gaming site recently to discuss the game's impending fixes and the upcoming remaining downloadable content that has been announced to be in development by DICE LA, rather than DICE Stockholm, where the game was initially developed. But let's first see what EA has to say regarding fixing the game, shall we?
"First, we want to thank the fans out there that are playing and supporting us with Battlefield 4," an EA spokesperson said to Polygon. "We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game - it is absolutely our No. 1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began withBattlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues withBattlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel their pain. We will not stop until this is right."

Commendable is EA's commitment to fixing Battlefield 4, but it's still a shame that the game has been in the process of getting fixed since its release last Fall. But, at least they're not abandoning it in favor of DLC like Warner Bros was criticized of doing with Akrham Origins.
Electronic Arts has also revealed to Polygon that DICE LA will be taking over Battlefield 4's two remaining DLC add-ons. Naval Strike, which is due out on later this month, will be the last DLC helmed by DICE Stockholm. The EA representative told Polygon that the two factions of DICE have worked together closely on the DLC Second Assault with DICE LA taking the lead, and this will continue with the LA branch also taking the lead on Dragon's Teeth and Battlefield 4 Final Stand, the last remaining DLC packs.
Battlefield 4 developer DICE Stockholm is fixing the game's issues, which is great. Here's hoping for a stable Battlefield 4 experience - better late than never.
