BioWare has it going strong with all the hype around “Mass Effect: Andromeda”. Newer news are released every day and here are some of the most interesting updates flowing through the internet.
Gaming Bolt reports about the presence of familiar races in the Andromeda galaxy. BioWare themselves have commented that not all of the known races will be present in the coming game, but this does not mean that they cannot be part of the Andromeda storyline. According to them, the method in which all familiar races from the Milky Way galaxy will be able to travel to Andromeda will be revealed in the upcoming novel. The method will also be explained in the game, so do not get sad if you do not manage to get your hands on the paperback. Even though possible, they do not plan on presenting all known races in the current adventure, as this could break continuity and immersion of the story.
Another interesting news comes from Game Tranfers. They announce that “Mass Effect: Andromeda” will have special versions for the PS 4, XBOX Scorpio and even Nintendo’s upcoming Switch platform. Mike Gamble from BioWare has verified the rumors as true. The special versions of the game will take all possible resources from the available consoles to bring an even greater experience to players.
Michael Gamble has spoken before Stevivor, giving additional information on what the PS 4 Pro players can expect from the coming game. One of the greatest improvements will be the galaxy map. It will no longer be displayed in a 2D menu and will actually be completely revealed to the player within the ship. It will accurately present the ship’s surroundings, where a star seen behind the ship on the map, can be observed by running to the conference hall and looking through the panorama. Also, designers have been able to implement new concepts like planets with multiple suns, moons varying in colors and much more.
“Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be released in 2017, for PC, PS 4 and XBOX One.
