Telltale Games has released a new trailer for The Walking Dead Season Two Episode 2- A House Divided, which you can find embedded below. They've also announced a release date of Tuesday, March 4th for the PS3 version and PC. Xbox 360, PSN in Europe and iOS App Store releases will be confirmed shortly, but will likely be for next week too.
From the look of the trailer it probably shouldn't be a shock to say that it looks like the game's going to take a dark turn- The Walking Dead series is nothing but dark turns. As always, the group of survivors that Clem has run across is fractured and is faced with all sorts of threats besides just zombies. Zombies are almost never the most dangerous thing in zombie movies or games, after all.
One of the most disturbing parts of this season is seeing our sweet little Clem grow up and become acclimated to this horrible world she lives in. It's rough. She was an innocent while you met her and now she's becoming more and more the seasoned zombie-hunter, the chance of the kid growing up with any sort of normal childhood long gone. It's the nature of the new apolcalyptic world- you have to be tough to stay alive- and while the first season made you decide whether it's better to get her prepared for the reality at hand or try and protect her from it, here there's no choice. You're Clem and you will fight to survive- and that means making some awful decisions.
You can check out our review of the first episode of this season, All That Remains, and you should play it yourself if you haven't. While it seems like The Wolf Among Us will give it a run for its money we all have to see how Clem's story ends.
