The open-world third-person shooter action-adventure game was received well by fans, which sparked speculation that it could come free for Live Gold members.
Ubisoft is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the business this year and as a way to show appreciation to fans, the company has been giving away games for free. It is believed that Ubisoft will end the celebration with a bang by releasing a hit title, like "Watch Dogs 2," as a free game included in the Xbox Live Games with Gold January 2017 program, TechPLZ reported. Besides the sequel, the original game is also rumored to be offered free next month.
Also predicted to be a free game in the Xbox Live Games with Gold January 2017 lineup is the Xbox One horror adventure game, "Among the Sleep." Apparently, some fans think that the game is disappointing which is why it could be included in the free list.
