Samsung did not wait for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to showcase it re-designed Notebook 9 laptops. This after the Korean tech giant unveiled this week the upgraded version of Samsung Notebook 9 featuring the lightest notebook in the tech market.
Sporting a more curved design, the newest 13- and 15-inch Samsung Notebook 9 showcase sleek and light chassis as compared to their predecessors. The 13-inch version weighs 1.8 pounds while its 15-inch counterpart weighs two pounds.
The newest Samsung Notebook 9 laptops also feature a backlit keyboard, two USB 3.0 ports, a single Type-C port, HDMI, and microSD slot with a conservative seven hours of battery life. Its display reclines up to 180°, making it simple to share presentations with co-workers, or pictures with your friends and family. Samsung said the device is a perfect combination of performance and portability.
The device is powered by Skylake processor, the next generation chipset from Intel, with Core i5 for the 13-inch device while the premium 15-inch Notebook was equipped with Core i7 chipset. The newest revamped laptops come with the latest Windows Hello OS with a fingerprint scanner for improved security.
According to TrustedReviews, the 15-inch model features 8GB of DDR4 dual-channel memory while the 13-inch model comes with 16GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM. Both models are pack with Full HD displays with 1920 x 1080p screen resolution. The company said Samsung Notebook 9 was designed with a superb full-HD display with bright, vivid and accurate colors.
With its Samsung RealView Display, the Samsung Notebook 9 elevates the viewing experience to new heights with support for a high-level of brightness, true-to-life colors, and a wide viewing angle, according to Samsung.
