"Gravity Rush 2" isn't arriving until January 20, but Sony is already showing off some new features in the upcoming action-adventure game. The latest news surrounding "Gravity Rush 2" is that the game's online features detailed in new Sony video.
The news comes via PlayStation Lifestyle, which reports that Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia recently hosted a livestream, in which the online features of "Gravity Rush 2" was detailed. "Gravity Rush 2" now features three gravity styles, unlike its predecessor. Gamers can now play using the original style, Lunar style, and Jupiter style.
Now that the game's online featured detailed in new Sony video, what can fans and gamers expect from "Gravity Rush 2?" First if all, online events may occur during gameplay. Players will be able to input the location on the map for every online event.
Game's online features also include a "Photo Review," in which gamers can check out photos from other "Gravity Rush 2" players. They can even like each other's photos, enabling them to earn "Dusty Token" points. Rewards will be provided for those who have earned enough "Dusty Tokens."
Also detailed in new Sony video is "Gravity Rush 2" online feature called "Treasure Hunting," in which players must look through a map to find treasure. Those who do find treasure can even provide clues to other players by leaving pictures.
For those who enjoy competing with others, the online feature for "Gravity Rush 2" called "Challenge Missions" would be something to look forward to. This enables gamers to play with the ghosts of other players and even send out challenge invites, as per Gematsu.
As for "Mines," gamers will have to destroy minerals to find enemies. The number of enemies will be determined by the number of players in this mode. These "Mines" will also feature "Lost Articles," which are items that are left behind by eliminated players. "Gravity Rush 2" arrives to PlayStation 4 on January 20.
