The second episode of The Wolf Among Us finally got an official release date (tomorrow for PC and PS3, Xbox 360 on Wednesday!) but as good as that game is, everyone is waiting for Telltale's flagship series to return. The Walking Dead Season Two dropped its first episode last December and gamers were worried that with Telltale getting its hands so busy with so many licenses (Game of Thrones, Borderlands, etc.) the timely release of the current series would suffer as a result. But worry not- Telltale is letting us know that the game is just around the corner.
They took to Twitter earlier today to say exactly that- "The next chapter of #TheWalkingDead Season 2 is just around the corner. Stay tuned for info! ", as well as post the above picture of Clem. "Still. Not. Bitten." is a direct quote from the first episode of this season after a pretty intense scene.
"All That Remains", the first episode of the second season (review here) launched mid-December for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and let you continue the story from the last season of The Walking Dead. Your decisions still matter, your experience still determined by the things you chose to do. It's a really effective game, even if we're not sure where the story will end up, and the second episode will inevitably see poor Clem dealing with even more insanity.
More details are coming soon but this is good news- a regular release schedule is critical to the success of these episodic games and the longer you have to wait the easier it is to start forgetting about the decisions you made and become disconnected from your characters. Protecting Clem, however, will always be a priority.
