Lazio vs. Fiorentina Preview
Fiorentina currently sits seventh in the Serie A table with 26 points. They have won seven games in their first 16 while only losing four. The Viola lost against Genoa on Thursday when they failed to equalize after Darko Lazovic's goal.
On the other hand, Lazio is looking to maintain their great form this season. They come into Week 17 with just one lose in their last eleven games. The Eagles defeated Sampdoria in a close one over the weekend by a score of 2-1.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marco Parolo both scored late in the first half to seal the win. But despite their good form, manager Simone Inzaghi knows that there will be more challenges to come but he is happy about his players' performances.
"We're getting good results and I share that success with everyone from the club, doctors, kit staff and of course the players. This summer when I accepted the challenge, I knew it would be difficult. We're happy right now because we're doing well, but the difficult part is coming up," Inzaghi said, via Football Italia.
"I have faith, because I can sense the confidence and enthusiasm from the first to the last. I have been here for 17 years, so I know the challenges," he added.
