Tottenham Hotspur vs. Burnley Preview
After losing to Manchester United last weekend, Tottenham managed to defeat Hull City at White Hart Lane by a score of 3-0. Christian Eriksen scored a brace while Victor Wanyama added another one in the impressive win.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to close the gap on the title race as they are only four points behind second place and ten points off first. The Tottenham boss is focused on the present after bowing out of the Champions League.
"Maybe we feel disappointed after going out of the Champions League and maybe the expectations from the beginning were too high, but after 16 games the gap to second place in the table is four points and to Chelsea at the top it is 10 points," Pochettino said, via The Mirror.
"We are working well and doing very good things - sometimes there is too much focus on negative things," he added.
On the other hand, Burnley is coming off a 1-0 loss on Wednesday against West Ham United. The Clarets sit 13th on the EPL table but they have only won one game in their last five while all the other four were losses.
