Despite the recent low rating, and a lot of characters cut off, “NCIS” is still working tireless to surprise and gain back the love of fans in the upcoming episodes of the show. After Ducky’s (David McCallum) decent mother was linked to one of the murder cases, he will receive a Christmas miracle in the upcoming episode.
The viewers will get the chance to see the complicated relationship between Ducky and his mother in more flashbacks. Ducky once prevented his mother from marrying a con man that he has been chasing for a very long time. After her fiancée left her, Ducky tied to make her feel better so he invited her to live with him in America. She was already in final stages of Alzheimer’s disease when the investigation turned up a classified ad his mother placed before his death. Ducky felt bad for ruining his mother’s engagement when he learned that his mother had a relationship with a gardener who is 25-years younger than her, who was also the man who placed the classified ad, TV Guide reported.
Ducky was heartbroken and thought he sent the last man in his mother’s life away, but if he didn’t he would have broken her heart, Buddy TV reported. It was a tough decision and Ducky made the right call. Another man steps on the Victoria’s, Ducky’s mother doorstep even after her death, and that man is a private investigator paid to find everything he can on the man Ducky sent away, Balthazar Kilmeany (Charles Shaughnessy). After Ducky spoke to Interpol, he found that a lot of con men used that ID to launder money, and Balthazar was one of them. Fornell, on the other hand, is still living with Gibbs when Emily has had enough, Gibbs told her Fornell is not doing the exercises he must do. Emily wants to have a Christmas dinner with her father when Gibbs finds a termite in the basement and guess what, Emily’s boyfriend studies entomology. Gibbs decided to do a background check on the boy.
According to Entertainment Weekly’s report, when Gibbs’ basement is infested with termites, the house had to be tented, which made Emily happy she could be at home with her father and a new boyfriend. Fornell enjoys spending time with Gibbs, but Emily told him it is time for him to return home.
“NCIS” season 14 episode 11 will be released on January 3, 2017.
