WBA striker Salomon Rondon scored a hat-trick in their 3-1 win over Swansea City last Wednesday. The victory propelled The Baggies into the seventh spot on the EPL table with 23 points. They are just four points behind Manchester United that have 27 points after 16 games.
The Red Devils have put on a good performance in the last two league games. They beat Tottenham Hotspur last week while finally getting a win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the winner in the 88th minute.
The game was level at 1-1 when the Swedish star put the visitors in front. Manager Jose Mourinho had nothing but praise for his men after the game. He noted that the players are tired but they deserved their last two games.
"The players they reached some limits, they were tired, there were some injuries, Zlatan told me he was tired but they gave everything they could. The boys they did phenomenal against a difficult team. The boys deserved the late happiness," Mourinho said, via EuroSport.
"Two victories means six draws. The reality is that I focus on performances, they have been very good for a long time. The players deserve this happiness, home and away," he added.
