Though there is much excitement regarding the return of Marvel's hit series "Jessica Jones," fans have noticed some inconsistencies in the portrayal of the character's superpower. With that, many are hoping for improvements in "Jessica Jones" season 2.
For the most part, many are happy with Krysten Ritter's portrayal of the Marvel hero "Jessica Jones." The Netflix series introduced a unique character, which brought a new perspective about superheroes compared to the portrayal of "The Avengers." Because of that, there are high expectations for "Jessica Jones" season 2.
With another season of the series in store, along with a crossover series titled "The Defenders" expected to release before "Jessica Jones" season 2, Marvel fans are hoping that Ritter's performance will be more consistent in terms of showing Jessica Jones' super strength.
In a Reddit post, some users pointed out that there were some instances in the past episodes of "Jessica Jones" where Ritter forgot her character's superstrength. It was pointed out that in one of the scenes when Jessica Jones was in the soundproof room, Ritter seemed to forget her character's abilities when she tried to lock the door. She was seen struggling when trying to close the large doors, which would be going against Jessica Jones' super strength. Some fans explained that little details such as this should be addressed carefully for "Jessica Jones" season 2.
Nevertheless, that does not diminish the hype surrounding what lies ahead for Ritter's character. As reported by ComicBook.com, recent photos of Ritter and Charlie Cox, who plays the role of Daredevil, were released, showing the two on set in their respective costumes. Though the photos may not be for "Jessica Jones" season 2, it is believed that the team-up is for "The Defenders."
There is still no release date for "Jessica Jones" season 2, as "The Defenders" will come first on the small screens. However, fans can watch "Jessica Jones" season 1 on Netflix.
