Director Zack Snyder posted on his personal Vero account the first image of actor Jason Momoa who would play Aquaman in the forthcoming “Justice League” movie. The photo shows Momoa onshore, wrapped in a large coat.
The photo shows Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa) wearing the overcoat over an Irish knit sweater, while talking to a woman. It was taken from the “Justice League” trailer which showed Bruce Wayne as he discovered Arthur Curry while he is recruiting heroes to join the league, according to Cinemablend.
Aquaman Rejects Batman’s Invitation
Villagers told Bruce Wayne that Arthur Curry, after emerging from the sea, brings fish to their community whenever villagers are hungry. According to the trailer of “Justice League,” Arthur Curry will first reject the invitation of Bruce Wayne to be part of their group. The trailer showed Arthur Curry lifting Bruce Wayne and throwing Batman against the local pub’s wall. The scene is apparently taken from the early part of the movie.
Movieweb reports that “Justice League,” to be directed by James Wan, would be filmed at the Village Roadshow Studios on Gold Coast’s South East Queensland in Australia. It was previously reported the shooting would be in Australia and France.
Other Shooting Venues
According to Moviepilot, the photo of Jason Momoa was shot on a set in Iceland. After the Australia shoot, the cast and crew of “Justice League” would film at the Castle of Venue in Italy in September.
While Amber Heard would play Mera, the wife of Aquaman in “Justice League,” Patrick Wilson would be Ocean Master Orm, the villain of the standalone “Justice League” spin-off which would be shown on Oct. 15, 2018. Another standalone movie from the franchise, “Batman,” starring Ben Affleck, would also be shown in 2018.
