"Stranger Things" Season 2 may not be the story you expected it to be. Some say it will be about Will turning into a Demogorgon, others pointed out that it will all be about the bike buddies Mike, Dustin, and Lucas new adventure. However, spoilers and predictions are pointing out in one particular story arc-- Eleven's backstory.
Eleven's Backstory to be Revealed in Season 2?
No one knows who is Eleven, only Brenner has that information and since there was no confirmation whether he died last season or not, there is a big possibility that he will unfold Eleven's history.
Eleven 's backstory is still unknown. The only thing we know is she is the daughter of Terry Ives, who took a very important part in Project MKUltra. It was revealed that though Eleven (or Jane Ives) call Dr. Martin Brenner as papa, the scientist is not her father, he was just the one who took care of Eleven (or Jane Ives) while conducting an experiment about the latter at the same time.
This story arc of Dr, Brenner, and his project lead to speculations that in "Stranger Things" Season 2, we will see how everything started. From Terry to her important role in Project MKUltra until to her alleged miscarriage to her daughter, Jane and Dr. Brenner's involvement. If this will be shown in the sequel, Eleven's real father can also be part of the backstory.
Backstory to Reveal the Secret of Upside Down World?
Moreover, "Stranger Things" Season 2 backstory can be a key to knowing how did the project be able to open a door to the Upside Down World and why did they use Eleven to the project.
According to reports, the door leading to the Upside Down world was a downside in the Project MKUltra. Because of Dr. Brenner's greed to know more about the mysterious creature that Eleven met in one of the training, he accidentally opened a portal to the other dimension of the earth. We have seen many times how he tried and tried to know more about that world but whenever a scientist or someone enters that door, they die.
In "Stranger Things" Season 2, it is said that this will all be explained from top to bottom for the fans to know and understand the connection of the outside world to the Upside Down world.
"Stranger Things" will premiere on July 2017 on Netflix.
