It has always been a debate what 4K means if taken under PlayStation 4 Pro perspective and the resounding argument is the availability of true 4K games. "For Honor" is a title that will make gamers think twice about PlayStation 4 Pro since the game taunted that it is the first true 4K game that will unleash on the mid-generation console.
What could be the selling point in "For Honor" apart from 4K resolution is higher fidelity and more stable frame rate. The latter is one of the issues for those pushing too hard, higher resolution at the cost of lesser frame rate. "For Honor" resolved the issue by getting the best of both worlds even in tight and congested situations. Meaning, players can expect no stutters on crowded monitor.
WeWriteThings described the experience as phenomenal in terms of graphics. Game atmosphere of "For Honor" is realistic and after-effects lie puddles from pouring rain were exquisitely crafted. These sang in unison to the point that gamers can easily find themselves hooked in their gaming couch and transported to knights-era of "For Honor."
Now here is an interesting point; can "For Honor" light up the wick that might lead to domino effect and make other titles strive for better versions of their respective franchises? If so, then PlayStation 4 Pro can finally claim that a step from predecessor is justifiable. After all, gamers are reluctant to grab PS4 Pro for simple reason that its titles are running at backwards compatibility anyway.
Only time can tell what PlayStation 4 Pro can really do and "For Honor" marked the start of that tenure. The good news is; gamers need not wait for too long because "For Honor" will unleash on Valentine's Day next year. This title is going to invade PlayStation 4 Pro, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Of course, it is needless to emphasize that PS4 Pro is the console to go for this title.
