"Pokemon GO" has just added new Pokemon babies in the game including Togepi, Pichu, Igglybuff and much more. Now finding these baby Pokemon is not really easy because they can only be hatched through an egg and not caught in the wild. So this guide is all about making the process of finding a Pichu faster and easier.
How to Get Pichu in the Game?
The only way for a "Pokemon GO" player to get a Pichu in the game is by hatching 5 KM eggs. And in order to hatch eggs in the game is to walk or bike. For this reason, the only possible short cut to get a baby Pichu is to hatch as many 5 KM eggs as possible by buying more incubators. Of course not all the eggs in the player's inventory are 5 KM eggs so players will have to incubate 2 and 10 KM eggs as well. When there is room for more eggs, head to a Poke stop and hope to receive more 5 KM than other KM eggs. Just repeat the process until a Pichu finally hatches from an egg.
Other Baby Pokemon in the Game
Aside from baby Pichu, "Pokemon GO" also added other baby Pokemon like Cleffa that becomes Clefairy and Igglybuff that evolves to Jigglypuff in 2 KM eggs, Togepi in 5 KM eggs, and Elekid that evolves to Electabuzz, Smoochum to Jynx, and Magby to Magmar in 10 KM eggs. The Pokemon that comes out from hatched eggs are completely random so it may take a while until a player gets any of the new baby Pokemon. The only way to speed up the process is if the "Pokemon GO" player has enough time to walk or bike and budget to buy more incubators. Niantic Labs confirmed that more Pokemon will be released in the coming days.
