During the Screen Actors Guild, executive producer Sam Esmail teased fans that "Mr. Robot" season 3 will comprise of very complicated episodes. Fans will see Elliot (Rami Malek) struggle with his mental disorder as it intensifies in the upcoming season.
According to an earlier interview with Deadline, "Mr. Robot" season 3 will be a challenge to Elliot as he deals with a mental disorder. There's a great chance that Elliot may be fully consumed by his mental illness. Will Elliot be able to overcome the demons inside him?

"Mr. Robot" season 3 will also see some interesting characters, which are expected to make the plot more thrilling. Esmail added that Joey Badass is set to make an impression next season. Esmail encouraged fans to watch out for his portrayal of Leon in the upcoming season.

The rapper added that "Mr. Robot" season 3 will feature surprising events, especially with his character. Leon is described as a killer next season. GamenGuide previously reported that Leon will be sent to jail to spy on Elliot. While there's no concrete reason for Leon to be sent to prison, spoilers suggest that he will be locked up during the first episode of season 3.
There are speculations that Leon actually words for Whiterose (BD Wong). It remains to be seen if Leon is on the side of the good or bad. It's certain though that Leon will be among the most interesting characters in "Mr. Robot" season 3.
