The first major expansion for "Forza Horizon 3," called "Blizzard Mountain," has gone live for the Xbox One and PC, and it adds a frozen new environment to the open world racing video game. The icy and snowy conditions in Blizzard Mountain will surely test players' driving skills.
The "Blizzard Mountain" expansion for "Forza Horizon 3" includes more than 50 new events and challenges, new race types, new achievements, and a handful of new cars for players' garages. The race types in "Blizzard Mountain" include Descent, Hill, Climb, and Blizzard. 20 new achievements that are worth 500 Gamerscore can be collected in the new expansion.
To access the "Blizzard Mountain" content, "Forza Horizon 3" players will have to unlock the area surrounding Redstone Airport. If they fail to do this, they will have to play a bit more to unlock the new features. There are players having trouble getting "Blizzard Mountain" to load in-game. Fortunately, Turn 10 Studios has offered a couple of potential workarounds to the problem. These include (1) installing the "Blizzard Mountain" expansion from the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, then restarting the game; and (2) opening the Manage Game option for "Forza Horizon 3" on the Xbox One, searching for the "Blizzard Mountain" expansion, and installing it from there.
Meanwhile, there is reportedly a Barn Find to be uncovered somewhere in the "Forza Horizon 3" expansion. Apart from the seven new vehicles included in "Blizzard Mountain," players can locate a classic International Harvester Scout inside a barn somewhere in the new expansion. The International Harvester Scout is a heavy-duty off-roader that has cult status among vintage collectors.
To get the International Harvester Scout hidden in "Forza Horizon 3," players have to find a barn in an area to the right of the Snow Gum Forest. The structure is reportedly just to the left of a curve on the main road.
