The tides have shifted as Johnny Depp is back to reprise the role of the legendary pirate, Jack Sparrow in the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" Dead Men Tell No Tales. Recently, there have been speculations surrounding Johnny Depp if "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" would be the final film Jack Sparrow appears.
Will "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" be the last film for Johnny Depp?
According to reports, Johnny Depp will be a supporting actor in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" because the upcoming movie will focus on the younger cast. The recent trailer is already out and new cast members are introduced in the film without the hint of Jack Sparrow being shown, this could mean Johnny Depp will not take the mantle of the main character.
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" Dead Man Tell No Tales is in fact, a reboot of the original trilogy, but Depp's Jack Sparrow character plays an important role in the film. According to the film's synopsis, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" revolves in a revenge story of Captain Salazar, (Javier Bardem) who escapes that Devil's Triangle and is on the hunt for Jack Sparrow.
To stop Salazar, Jack Sparrow will have to find the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful relic that can control the seven seas. The newest cast members will join Johnny Depp in finding the Trident in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5."
"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will also reunite Will Turner, played by Orlando Bloom and his son, Henry Turner, portrayed by the "Hunger Games" actor, Brendon Thwaites. In the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5," Henry Turner will do anything to reunite with Will Turner by breaking the spell that keeps them apart.
