From Software has outdone themselves. In Tokyo a cafe based on Dark Souls opened yesteday and the amount of detail to the game is staggering. Campfires, estus flasks, authentic weapons and armor! But would people be turned off from going to eat in a place based on a game whose tagline was "Prepare to die"? Apparently not.... click through the images in this slideshow to take a look inside.
Japanese sites Dengeki Online and Game Watch Impress sent folks there to eat and take pictures- check out what they've found. If you live in Tokyo and want to see this amazing place for yourself get there soon- it's only going to be open until April. This is a collaboration between From Software and Tokyo's Australian-themed Oz Cafe. While Australia and dark fantasy worlds may seem to go hand in hand (?) it seems like the collaboration has paid off. Check out the Dark Souls Cafe's official Japanese website for details on the items you can find there, like 500 ml of Estus or Roasted Mushroom People.
