Bruno Mars saved 2016 as he joined James Corden on "Carpool Karaoke". And, as expected, it was lit!
As usual, Bruno Mars rode shotgun while Corden was at the wheel. Bruno Mars kept Coden's car popping on Tuesday during the entire 15-minute segment of "The Late Late Show".
They started the segment by singing the singer's latest song "24K Magic". As the two took a trip down the streets of Los Angeles, Bruno Mars revealed why wearing hats is his go-to look.
Bruno Mars shared that his hair is the one to blame why he always wear hats. He added, "I don't know what to do with it."
Corden then showed Bruno Mars a number of stylish hats and made him try them. Fortunately for the "24K Magic" singer, he can still manage to look good with everything - even while wearing the silliest hat. After sharing his secret, the two later sang "Locked Out of Heaven".
Bruno Mars also discussed how he started in music. Before his stardom, at a young age, he was already impersonating Elvis Presley, performing in his father's revue in Waikiki. He shared that it was when he was 4 years old when he realized he wants to perform.
Corden asked Bruno Mars if he ever sees himself in the future gaining weight just like Presley did. "If that doesn't happen then I didn't make it," he joked.
Bruno Mars also sang one of his hits, "Grenade", along with Corden. They sang "Versace on the Floor" as well.
In addition Bruno Mars and Corden also sang "If I knew" as well as his blockbuster hit, "Uptown Funk". The two ended up the segment twinning with a cap and Mars' signature outfit while singing "Perm".
