Nintendo, the maker of the popular platform game Super Mario, will give a preview of its full standard size video game console Nintendo Switch on January 12 ahead of its March 2017 release date. Unlike its miniature NES version, Nintendo Switch is capable of playing high-graphics modern games like "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind." In fact, the video teaser for the upcoming event featured a 3D Super Mario game.
Nintendo will unveil Nintendo Switch in Tokyo, Japan, but will simulcast the event via live streaming to New York City and London. The next generation Nintendo console is set to give a preview of the features of the highly anticipated video game console. Although Nintendo keeps the details on minimum, the upcoming debut of Nintendo Switch is expected to showcase a brand new Super Mario game experience.
Fans around the world are also excited to know if Nintendo will embed the popular mobile location-based video game Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon to Nintendo Switch. This as the device has both home console that can be played on your living room TV, and a portable console that can be played on-the-go.
Ahead of the anticipated Nintendo Switch debut, Nintendo America, and Nintendo UK are now giving preview tickets to selected My Nintendo members to witness the event. This will give loyal Nintendo players the opportunity to try the device ahead of its release. In the UK, an email newsletter is now circulating to Nintendo UK users offering them the prize of getting a spot at the Nintendo Switch event in London.
The success of the recently launched Super Mario and Pokémon games pave the way for Nintendo to make a good comeback after the flak of its Wii U device. Nintendo Switch is Nintendo's follow-up to the Wii U after it failed to make an impression to its closest rivals the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Watch the preview of Nintendo Switch here:
