The news comes from Gamespot, which reports that "Age of Empires 2 HD" is finally getting a new expansion in the form of "The Rise of Rajas." The expansion arriving December 19 features four new civilizations, a new map type, and "performance upgrades" that gamers would appreciate. In addition, gamers can now enjoy a "restore" function in which gamers can now pick up where they left off in the game.
"The Rise of Rajas" expansion arriving December 19 for "Age of Empires 2 HD" features four new civilizations, namely Burmese, Khmer, Malay, and Vietnamese. The Burmese civilization features Battle Elephants that are capable of demolishing powerful defenses. The Burmese civilization also has a ranged cavalry unit called Arambai that's deadly.
"The Rise of Rajas" expansion arriving December 19 for "Age of Empires 2 HD" also features the Khmer, a civilization that features the Ballista Elephant, a mounted scorpion that has the capability to fire two bolts at the same time. Malay, on the other hand, is a civilization that features the Karambit Warrior, a cheap yet powerful infantrt that's overwhelming to enemies.
Vietnamese is the fourth new civilization in "The Rise of Rajas" expansion arriving December 19 for "Age of Empires 2 HD." It features the Rattan Archer, a massively armored ranged unit that can defy enemy attacks. According to Eurogamer, gamers should also expect the expansion to improved multiplayer gameplay.
