The NBC series "Grimm" is set to close its final chapter with a Season 6 run that will feature a Renard (Sasha Roiz) adamant to eliminate Nick (David Giuntoli). Apart from Renard embracing his dark side, latest spoiler news hinted of a potential fight between Nick and Wu (Reggie Lee).
"Grimm" Season 5 featured Wu's struggles to control his beastly side after he contracted a lycanthrope virus. Without any cure in sight, he was advised by Nick and friends to try and remain calm even during stressful moments to avoid turning into a werewolf.
However, Wu will have a difficult time controlling his emotions especially with Capt. Renard's villainous plans. "Grimm" Season 6 spoilers posted on TVLine teased of a "pretty cool" yet unexpected fight between two characters that will happen in episode 3 titled "Oh Captain, My Captain."
Despite the lack of plot details for the said episode, storyline speculations teased that Wu may lose his temper given Renard's antics and transform into a werewolf. Given Wu's lack of control over his beast form, Nick will have no choice but to fight his friend.
At this point, it is unclear if the said rumored fight between Wu and Nick will happen in "Grimm" Season 6. Some speculations also pointed to Wu being an asset to Nick's team with his special lycanthrope abilities.
In an earlier interview with Screen Spy, Lee shared that given Wu's profession as a cop, the said character will try to take advantage of his new powers to help others in need. However, a challenge that Wu will need to face would be learning to control his savage side, according to the actor.
Lee also stated that Wu will rely on Nick and Hank (Russell Hornsby) to keep him in line but there would be moments that his character will barely manage to control his werewolf side. He shared, "There are moments especially in the first two episodes where I could 'go there' completely and take somebody out. One of them holds me back."
"Grimm" Season 6 will premiere on Jan. 6, 2017 on NBC. Watch a teaser clip for the upcoming season below:
