Lady Gaga, now 30, first spoke publicly about the rape two years ago. She also revealed afterwards that she was traumatised, by saying "I suffer from a mental illness - I suffer from PTSD. I've never told anyone that before." Recently Piers Morgan tweeted something unusual on twitter as he said "I remain sceptical [sic] about Madonna & Lady Gaga's claims," Morgan tweeted "I wouldn't automatically believe anything either Madonna or Lady Gaga claimed about their lives."
To this tweet Gaga wrote on twitter "@piersmorgan I've work w/ our VP Joe Biden on helping educate people about why women don't report, would love to share it w/ you some time." To this, piers tweeted "OK, you're on. Let's do an interview about this & you can tell me why I'm wrong to be sceptical [sic]," to this Gaga gave a perfect reply "@piersmorgan Let's do that & yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle u," Gaga replied. "Surprised you would question that. Was that the 1st question of our interview?"
Afterwards Piers wrote "I rather admire @ladygaga for agreeing to an interview after my criticisms," Morgan wrote. "Should be a fascinating debate. I'll press my meat suit."well if an interview like that is going to happen then we all are going to watch it with a lot of interest. Post-traumatic stress disorder is an anxiety disorder which can develop after a very stressful, frightening or distressing event, or a prolonged traumatic experience.
Previously Gaga shared her experiences regarding the incident of rape. "The kindness that's been shown to me, by doctors as well as my family and my friends, it's really saved my life," the singer said, after bringing presents to the astonished teenagers at the centre."Meditation helps me to calm down," she said, adding that she was struggling with her mental illness "every day".
