Ed Sheeran is back after a year of hiatus. On top of that, he might probably release a new album.
Last year, after his world tour, Ed Sheeran shared his announcement via Instagram saying he will take some time off. He said he wants to take a break from e-mails and all social media.
Ed Sheeran also said he wants to travel as well. He added that his third album is on its way and that he will see his fans next autumn.
Now, Ed Sheeran is breaking the internet after mysteriously updating both of his Instagram and Twitter accounts. He recently posted a blue image with no words.

He changed his profile pictures on both accounts as well into the same photo he posted, as per Billboard. Ed Sheeran still has not posted anything after that. What is happening?
"Thinking Out Loud" singer Ed Sheeran probably finished the third album he was talking about last autumn. Maybe it is his way of saying he is about to drop it? It seems a good idea to release an album now that Beyonce and Adele are still out of the way.
Or maybe he will be doing a collaboration with another artist? One thing is for sure though, that color or word has something to do with an upcoming album. Unless he realized he is now obsessed with the color blue after travelling the world so he did that.
In addition, this update by Ed Sheeran sparked a fan frenzy. It has garnered more than 100,000 retweets as of writing.
Well, of course, fans are left with no choice but to keep on guessing about the mysterious update. Fans will also have to wait for further announcement. Even so, Ed Sheeran still managed to bring some positivity with just a plain blue photo.
