"The Guardians of the Galaxy" was one of the riskiest bet of Marvel when the trailer released on summer back in 2014. Saying that it would be a flop movie for Marvel due to comics cult commodity and relatively unknown character that is set to run the film.
"The Guardians of the Galaxy" has been predicted would be a flop for MCU as the characters were unknown, hitting the theaters without the help of Captain America, Iron Man or any other famous character in the MCU. The film only has Chris Patt who was greatly known for the previous film of James Gunn's "Superb," and "Slither and Super" (can be recalled one of the films that have failed) and from "Parks & Recreation" as a fat funny man.
What a big surprise when the movie able to break a leg after pulling over $770 million worldwide proved to be a critical hit and has brought Chris Pratt into a bona fide superstar. As per the report of Screenrant, James Gunn contributed a great help with his wacky humor, entertaining direction and voice for "The Guardians of the Galaxy."
Gunn was also known for being open to his social media followers, hosting discussions and some elements of his "The Guardians of the Galaxy" film onto Facebook and twitter. So, it is no surprise as he took again his social media to share the shot lists, storyboards, and the first presentation that he made and his initial pitch for the film.
According to a report obtained by CinemaBlend, James Gunn uploaded in his Instagram stating that the packet includes a 20-page document for the visuals of Volume 1 of "The Guardians of the Galaxy" film, 10 pages of methodology, and 42 pages of the first scene of the storyboarding in the movie. He further refers his Facebook page for more.
The style of the storyboard is somewhat similar to what he has used to tease in some certain plot elements of the upcoming film. James technique relies much further on his ability to describe every different scene through his written language. Gunn is set to prove again as the Vol. 2 of "Guardian of the Galaxy" is one of the most anticipated films in 2017.
