Apple has released the final version of iOS 10.2 and now the Apple Jailbreak community waits for the much-bragged about iOS 10 jailbreaks from Pangu. The Chinese hacking group claimed that they had already a tool and they are just waiting for the "Cupertino Company" to initiate a move.
Apple released the seventh beta for iOS 10.2. The latest mobile operating system is predicted to be equipped with fixes though a look at the patch notes shows more of content and enhancements so far. iOS 10 has been far from impressive, one that has carried bugs and performance issues. That includes security breaches discovered by third-party security firms, surprising something that Pangu and hackers were unable to crack.
Hackers and Pangu have been remaining quiet about it. Many hackers have advised the jailbreak community members to continue using iOS 10.1.1 instead of updating to the new version. The hackers warned everyone not to make the update if they wish to be excluded in paying for paid "Apple Store Applications."
Pangu is once again in discreet. No iOS 10 jailbreak has so far been released, the last was iOS 9.3.4. The alleged iOS 10 crack comes with wider features and allegedly open source, shaping up to be a flexible solution for ones used to applying jailbreaks to their devices.
Pangu or Luca Todesco has given up with the iOS 10 jailbreak but fans will have to stay tuned to find out. The "Apple iOS 10.2" from comes with three new wallpapers for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, additional camera features, new TV app and Unicode 9.0 emoji.
Pangu may take its time seeing first what Apple has done with iOS 10.2, before deploying its iOS 10 jailbreak. If the Chinese group is to release one, they may need to come up with one fast. Some may upgrade to the latest iOS soon to address current issues with their devices.
