With the developer's announcement of adding new games for the Nintendo NX, it seems that Nintendo Switch release date wouldn't be too soon. However, the list of games on Nintendo Switch is getting bigger since there will be numerous third-party games to be added including an exclusive game.
"Seasons of Heaven" is one of the new games to be added and it will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch in 2018, reports the Express. The game is based on a French novel of the same title, which features Yann, a young boy with his dog Ani. It was created with the use of Unreal Engine 4 and reports say that gamers will be able to play both the young boy as well as the dog.
Another game called "Sacred Hero" is also coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2018. THQ Nordic games such as "Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy," which is said to be perfect for the Switch, "Legends of War" and "War Leaders: Clash of Nations" will be added to the console as well. Additionally, fans can also look forward to the release of "Stardew Valley" and "Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+" on the console.
According to Inquisitr, first-party games are also confirmed to release on Nintendo Switch like "Mario 3D Game" although it is not yet the official name of the game on the console. Nintendo's new IP "Splatoon" was also reported to release on the Switch.
Additionally, "Gamecube" has also been suggested to release on Nintendo Switch as the company is reportedly working on taking Gamecube versions of "Super Mario Sunshine" in. "Super Smash Bros. Melee," "Luigi's Mansion" and "Animal Crossing" will also be released on the Switch Virtual Console.
If these reports would come into reality, Virtual Console games that already exist will be ported over to the Nintendo Switch. Reports also suggest that Nintendo is also considering an upgrade system for those who already own the existing Virtual Console games.
