Now, the production team has promised that the mystery surrounding the identity of A will be revealed in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7.
According to Variety, ABC has requested King and the cast for more seasons, however, King has explained that the storyline has already run its course, and it is now time to explore for other opportunities. To recall, the true identity of A has been carefully hidden from the viewers, and now is the time to finally unburden the fans with such mystery. King has also divulged that the finale of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 will ultimately shock the viewers of who A.D. is.
In the trailer released, A.D. will be seen taking off his or her wood, which would then be a shocking revelation to the rest of the characters, Hollywood Life reports. Star, Troian Bellisario has revealed that the finale of "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 will be conclude with major revelations behind the character of A.D.

Now, rumors are rife that a spin-off is very possible, considering that the series popularity is evident for seven seasons. Insiders have divulged that Marlene King is now working on the storyline that would feature mature characters taking on mature roles. Furthermore, insiders have claimed that the spin-off will either be a movie or TV series. However, the production team has yet to comment on this reports.
