Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to take an awesome feature from iPhone 7. As the South Korean tech firm is hard at work on its next flagship phone, rumors claim that it is likely nab the stereo speakers on the Apple device, only adding loud speakers on the front.
According to reports, Samsung Galaxy S8 will use the Harman technology, after the company recently acquired the $8 billion high-end audio firm, Harman International Industries that operates brands like Harman. However, Harman CEO Dinesh Paliwal said that Samsung Galaxy S8 may have to wait until 2018 before the Harman audio technology be integrated into the upcoming smartphone since the acquisition only took place on Nov. 14.
Meantime, Samsung Galaxy S8 is also rumored to drop the standard flat panel, and instead go for a dual-curved displays. Moreover, the next-gen flagship is believed to come in two models, a 5.5-inch model with a similar screen size like that of Galaxy S7, and a 5.1-inch dual-curved.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is also likely to nab a popular feature of the current generation iPhones, which is the 3D Touch. In fact, reports suggest that a Samsung supplier reveals that the company is planning to include a pressure-sensitive feature similar to 3D Touch functionality that can be found on iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S, Express reported.
Meantime, reports also claim that Samsung Galaxy S8 will no longer have the 3.5mm headphone jack, raising speculations that the company is following the footsteps of the iPhone 7 models. As a replacement, the smartphone is reported to come with only the USB Type-C port, along with a 3.5 mm-headphone-to-USB Type-C adapter.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is also believed to do away with the iconic Home Button, and the fingerprint sensor that was used to be integrated in the Home Button will instead be put under the screen, according to a report. Watch THIS IS SAMSUNG GALAXY S8!!!
