'One Piece' 850 Rumors & Speculations: On the latest 'One Piece' chapter, Big Mom becomes enraged when she learned that an intruder went inside her treasury room - which on this case is none other than "Soul King" Brook. Will this he be actually the trump card against Big Mom's Soru Soru No Mi ability?
Back in 'One Piece' 849, Brook was able to enter the treasury room because of the decoy plot he agreed with Pedro. The latter would lure away the significant portion of Big Mom's guards, while Brook will have to take anything valuable that has something to do with Raftel - this time the poneglyphs.
Brook was able to display superiority over Big Mom's lackies, as he defeated all of the Chess Army single-handedly. He claimed that him being the "Soul King" means that the souls casted on the wrong bodies will never have a chance standing against the obstinate nature of screaming soul.
So with this in mind, is it possible that only Brook has the chance against Big Mom's ability? Soul King's Yomi Yomi No Mi may really have an edge against Soru Soru No Mi. Brook's devil fruit abilities are not yet detailed in nature, though we know that it even granted him the ability to remove his soul from the his body and control it at will.
Now could it be possible that it has another ability that could possibly negate the Big Mom's Soul Soul Fruit ability? That is possible. In the One Piece world, there are cases in which two persons may have a significant difference in raw power, but the weaker can have an upper hand because of the discrepancy in Devil Fruit abilities.
For example, Luffy's Rubber Devil Fruit had a great advantage against Enel's Thunder Devil Fruit - though in terms of raw power, Enel is way much stronger than Luffy when they encountered.
So could the same pattern happen between Brook and Big Mom? Yes, Brook is strong and a dependable Straw Hats member, but he is weak in terms of raw power when compared to a Yonko like Big Mom. However, we can imagine something unfolding as Big Mom is ready to face Brook because of the Treasury Room incident.
