Pokemon Event 2016 Update: As a treat for Pokemon fans, Nintendo intends to give away Meloetta for avid players. This will also mark the celebration of the franchise's first 20 years in the gaming industry.
So how will the players be able to have their hands on the said Pokemon? The first thing to have is of course, connect to a Nintendo Network via Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
But this will be just a limited time offer. As reported by Inquistr, trainers are advised to hurry as this offer will last only until December 24. In order to get Meloetta downloading, here are the basic directions you need to follow:
1) Select Mystery Gift option
2) Tap the "Receive Gift" button
3) Select "Via Internet"
4) Receive Meloetta then close menu
5) Visit any Pokemon Center and speak with the Delivery Girl
But here are the things you have to remember. Make sure to keep one slot vacant on your Pokemon Party so that the delivery girl can give you Meloetta. Then make sure to keep your device in full battery or connected to an AC adapter before starting the transfer, power drain may result to data corruption. After receiving Meloetta, be sure to save your game.
Meloetta has two basic forms, the Pirouette Forme and the Aria Forme. The Pirouette Forme can only be seen after using the special move "Relic Song".
The default is the Aria Forme having a Normal/Psychic-type, while the Pirouette Forme comes as a Normal/Fighting-type. Meloetta also has a special ability called Serene Grace that boosts the success rate of any additional effects for certain moves like Confusion.
So being able to receive Meloetta for free is something you shouldn't miss. You only have a few days left before the promo runs out. Get those Nintendo consoles running and start downloading Meloetta event before it's too late.
