Three months have already passed since iOS 10 had been released by Apple. Until now, there has been no iOS 10 jailbreak tool released by any reliable hacking teams. Due to this, there have been reports speculating that even Pangu and Luca Todesco have given up on cracking the seemingly impenetrable iOS 10.
Pangu is one of the most, if not the most, reliable hacking team that releases iOS jailbreak tools. However, they have fallen silent regarding the iOS 10 jailbreak tool, along with the popular hacker Luca Todesco. While they have been posting updates claiming that they have already cracked the mobile OS, no public release has been made yet.
With the final version of iOS 10.2 just released officially, the security features and patches for the OS had been a lot more stringent. The iPhones, iPads and iPods are now a lot more secure from exploitation.
However, Luca Todesco had previously warned the public not to update to iOS 10.2 just yet, and stick to iOS 10.1.1 instead for those who want the jailbreak tool. He revealed that there is a higher chance to ultimately crack iOS 10.1.1 than the newer 10.2, so the jailbreak tool would work with the slightly older version easily.
While his claim seems to be valid, no news regarding the official release of an iOS 10 jailbreak from both Todesco and Pangu had been out. Pangu is known for releasing jailbreak tools just two or three weeks after Apple's release of new OS. With the long wait that has now dawned the hacking team, some have been speculating that maybe Pangu has already given up to the tight security measures of the iOS 10.
With the absence of a proper iOS 10 jailbreak tool from reliable sources such as Pangu and Luca Todesco, fake sites have sprung up to deceive Apple users. The jailbreaking community must be wary of these sites, as they intend to steal information and leave malicious software on their devices.
