A couple of weeks ago Apple have been reluctant on explaining the issues about the constant battery drain of Iphone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Now, the company has already offered its explanation, saying that the battery being manufactured was exposed to what Apple is calling as "controlled ambient air."
It can be remembered that iPhones also have suffered from battery drain issues for quite some time, which has been the reason where Apple instated its battery replacement program. Reports were also indicated that the cause of Apple's smartphones constant battery-drain were its software issues.
Moreover, in the previous report by GameNGuide , it has been indicated that since the update of IOS 10.1.1, many iPhone users reported that the battery life of their smartphones has greatly reduced. Users have also been reporting that their devices lose as much as 60 percent of the battery power while it is sitting idle when switched off.

Yet Apple's answer to this controversy has finally been unveiled as it about the controlled ambient air which is more likely to be understood as "batteries exposed to the air for too long during the manufacturing process," as Tab Times explained.
In fact, Apple explained that because of the controlled ambient air, the batteries degrade faster compared to a normal battery of which can cause unexpected shutdowns to occur. The company further clarified, with a side note, that the issue will not be affecting safety.
Despite Apple claiming that it isn't a safety issue, still a number of Chinese iPhone users affirms to have recently catch fire and even experience exploding. Then earlier this year, the iPhone 6s Plus of a certain woman exploded ,causing the screen to shatter and the back of the phone to have blackened which made the company to issue a replacement.
Apple has not commented on the above controversies as these appear to be isolated incidents. But many users are currently in doubt as these controversies may suggest that Apple's iPhone may likely to explode.
