Bertolt Hoover and Reiner Braun are probably two of the most infamous names in "Attack on Titan." However, recent reports suggest that these two, who happen to be Eren Yeager's enemies, will be given the chance to shine in the upcoming installment.
According to the reports, some fans are looking forward to more scenes featuring Bertolt and Reiner in "Attack on Titan" season 2. The two are basically some of Eren Yeager's most hated Titan Shifters in the manga series. Eren particularly has a very deep connection with Reiner and more stories about their past together may also be told in the anime soon.
Comic Book notes that Bertolt and Reiner, who, in their Titan forms are the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan respectively, may play a major role in helping the plot for "Attack on Titan" season 2. This prediction is based on earlier rumors suggesting that the upcoming "Attack on Titan" installment will focus largely on the "Clash of Titans" arc.
Fans who are familiar with the manga are already aware that Eren will clash with his former friend, Reiner. Since Reiner is Bertolt's best friend, he is expected to be dragged into the battle between Reiner and Eren that is rumored to be highlighted in "Attack on Titan" season 2.
Fans are also looking forward to the back story of both Bertolt and Reiner. It is expected that their roots will be unveiled in "Attack on Titan" season 2. Not much has been revealed about their beginnings yet in the manga but it is widely speculated that they will be given a chance to tell their stories in the highly anticipated second season.
Meanwhile, the specific release date of "Attack on Titan" season 2 has yet to be announced. It was declared earlier that the show will return sometime April 2017. Fans expect the first episodes to arrive early April.
