Though Marvel fans are excited to have a new "Spider-Man" reboot, the most recent trailer of the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" had fans a little confused. Nevertheless, there are high expectations for the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The official trailer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" was recently released, teasing fans of what is to come for the young superhero. The video teased the relationship of Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, and Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. However, their scene together in the official trailer brought some questions to a lot of fans.
Upon watching the official trailer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming," many fans voiced out their observation on the appearance of Iron Man. A Reddit user pointed out that the man standing beside Tom Holland in the trailer did not look like Robert Downey Jr. Instead, it is believed that it is actually a stand in. However, fans can still expect Robert Downey Jr. to take part in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." It was speculated that they just used a stand-in for Robert Downey Jr. in order to make him look taller than Tom Holland, since Spider-Man is supposed to be younger than Iron Man.
Aside from that, there were a lot of interesting additions to the trailer of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" that humored many fans. Since the "Spider-Man" franchise has had a lot of installments, there were some references to the previous films in the recently released trailer.
One of the scenes from the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" trailer that mirrored something similar from a past film was when Spider-Man was thrown intoa school bus. It was pointed out that it seemed to be reference to when Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man was thrown into a cop car by Electro.
With that, there is a lot of excitement for the release of "Spider-Man: Homecoming." However, there is still a long wait as the film is expected to release mid-2017.
