The midseason finale of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 would be aired later this week, and fans are seemingly up for an intense episode. Peter Lenkov, showrunner of the hit series, has revealed that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will be ending with a pretty huge cliffhanger. This now led many fans to believe that a major character is going to die.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 11 will be titled "Ka'ili aku," which translates to Snatchback. The episode will then be filled with intense action and drama, especially for Chin, played by Daniel Dae Kim. The official synopsis for the episode has revealed that Sara, Chin's niece, will be taken.
Chin has become somewhat of a father figure of Sara, so the "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 midseason finale would see him doing everything to save her from her captors. This could also mean the Chin's life would be in grave danger for the sake of Sara.
This storyline premise then made fans believe that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 might ultimately conclude with the passing of a major character. This was the similar case with the finale of last season, as even show's lead Steve McGarrett, played by Alex O'Loughlin, narrowly escaped death.
Lenkov then revealed in a statement that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will have a huge cliffhanger for its finale. The showrunner then admitted that if they pull it off successfully, then this would be their first attempt to end a season on a cliffhanger.
Lately, there have been rumors stating that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 might get cancelled when the time comes that Alex O'Loughlin decides to leave the show. In several of his interviews, the actor has revealed that he is indeed mulling over leaving the show for good.
Lenkov then assured the fans that "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will definitely continue even with O'Loughlin's absence. He then goes on to say that the actor might have simply burned out with his character, especially considering that the show already has more than 150 episodes. "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 11 will be airing on Friday, December 16.
