Angelina Jolie has been accused of having an ulterior motive in filing for divorce against Brad Pitt and for praying for a sole custody of their six children. The "Tomb Raider" heroine is vying for the position of a Secretary General of the United Nations and that would require emigrating to London.
But it will not be easy for Jolie to just tow her six children with her as she moves in to London. According to various reports, Jolie knew from the beginning that Pitt would fight for their six children. So in order for the actress to manipulate the circumstances in her favor, she allegedly exaggerated the verbal spat between her and Pitt on board a private jet, where Pitt reportedly "lunged" at Maddox.
Before, there were reports that the Los Angeles County Department Of Children and Family Services (DCFS) was anonymously tipped that Brad Pitt was abusive to Maddox during the private jet plane incident. This lead to an non-adversarial probe into Pitt's tendency or inclination to abuse in whatever manner their son Maddox.
At that point, Angelina Jolie had already filed for divorce against Pitt, citing as one of the grounds, Pitt's unhealthy manner of raising their kids. The LA DCFS extended its investigation to include not just Maddox, but the rest of their children and expanded the scope to include not just Pitt, but also Jolie and staff.
Before DCFS finally concluded its investigation, clearing Pitts of all allegations, the estranged couple has already signed a temporary custody agreement, where, before Pitt could make any visits to his children, must first undergo random drug and alcohol tests. Drug abuse and drunkenness are included in Jolie's grounds on divorce. Called therapeutic visitations, Pitt's visit to kids is monitored or moderated.
A report from TMZ said that two women who serve as Jolie's consultant advised the actress to file for abuse charges against Pitt, if she wants the court to award to her the sole custody of their children. As mentioned earlier, Jolie knew from the beginning Pitt would not make it easy for her to move to London with kids, unless she has their sole custody. But this accusation against Jolie has been denied.
