Ichabod Crane will be back for another round of adventures and mysteries to solve in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. While Ichabod (Tom Mison) has lost his partner Abbie (Nicole Beharie) in the previous season, the mission continues but the protagonist may need to form new partnerships.
Details of the premiere episode of "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 have just been released, giving fans an idea on what the next season could bring. Titled, "Columbia," the episode will see Ichabod and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) team up as they go searching for the next Witness. As the title suggests, Ichabod will be in the capital city and there, he would need to "forge unlikely partnerships" just to carry out his mission.
Although Abbie Mills has left, her spirit will live on at least in the first episode as TV Line revealed that the character will be seen and mentioned in the first few seconds of the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere. Also, her absence won't affect Ichabod's mission to solve more mysteries. In the previous season, it can be recalled that a mysterious organization lured the protagonist out of town. This organization promised Ichabod that he will lead a group created by George Washington centuries ago that is dedicated to fighting evil.
It has also been revealed that Ichabod's new ally in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will be Secret Service Agent Diana, played by Janina Gavankar. He will also collaborate with Jake (Kerry MacKinnon) and Alex (Rachel Melvin), who are members of the secret George Washington group.
There should be a lot of changes expected in the all new season of "Sleepy Hollow" as Abby has said goodbye. One of these is Ichabod's relocation to Washington to form a new team. With all new episodes, fans should expect more action and mystery when the series returns. "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premieres on Jan. 6, 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
