"Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" trailer was released on Dec. 11 in the middle of a special premiere event with the movie's dramatis personae at New York City Time Square. The trailer was streamed via Facebook Live.
According to E Online, Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren are the new casts in "Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" bringing the girl supremacy to the movie. The film is the first in the series without the departed Paul Walker and the actors coming back are Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson.
In the "Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" trailer, which contains a Mad Max-like explosive hunting scene, Charlize Theron appears superbly fierce. In a sneak peek photo of her character, she is seen with her hair tied up in ponytail and sporting a Metallica shirt that reads Metal Up Your A** with a black leather jacket standing close to machine guns paraded in a counter.
Before the official trailer was released, a teaser was retrieved by Vann Digital on Dec. 9. A poster of "Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" was disclosed showing Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel with their heads bent over with the caption "Family no more." Scott Eastwood among other cast members also publicized the movie's trailer on Instagram alongside Vin disclosing that the event reminds him a special occasion.
Diesel's Instagram post reads that it was an emotional day as his dream that came true when the "Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" trailer was launched at New York City where he started his love and passion for film started when he was a child when his father first brought them to the cinema in Times Square. "And from that moment I knew what I would dedicate my life to... the art of making film," he said.
"Fast & Furious: The Fate of the Furious" or "Fast & Furious 8" is the eight installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise directed by F. Gary Gray. It is set for release on April 14, 2017.
